CONGRESS EAHP 2019

The 24th EAHP Congress will take place in the city of Barcelona from 27 to 29 March 2019. The theme of the Congress is "Personalized Hospital Pharmacy - meeting the needs of all patients".

The title already says a lot. Originally the pharmacy was much more personalized and recently we have been rediscovering the need to have medications and approaches to treatments increasingly tailored to different patient groups and individuals. The scientific program of the Congress is also tailored to the needs of individual hospital pharmacists and their interest groups as the Congress offers the possibility to choose between many parallel sessions, keynote presentations, workshops and symposia. EAHP believes that the role of hospital pharmacists in personalised medication is the key to success. Therefore, an advanced program will serve as the source of knowledge and inspiration that are needed for our future role and engagement in personalised medication. The EAHP Congress is also an opportunity for pharmacists to meet colleagues from Europe and around the world, to share experiences and learn from each other. EAHP prefers progress in pharmacy practices. Sharing experiences and good practices is certainly one of the ways to accelerate this success. The EAHP Congress, the largest congress of the hospital pharmacy in Europe, is an excellent platform for this sharing and training.
